A Common & Ordinary Sin in Doomed Generations

“Thou shalt not kill.” – Ex. 20:13
Have you ever murdered anyone? Perhaps not. “Murderers…shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”  (Rev. 21:8). Most people know that this is a bad sin. However, what they don’t know is that God will judge hatred as murder. Have you ever hated anyone? (Have you ever told anyone you hated them?) This is a more common sin. Do you hate anyone?
“Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.” – 1 Jn. 3:15
Men look on the outward appearance, but God looks to the heart. Hatred can be defined as intense anger or great dislike. Hatred could even be defined as strong feelings of unforgiveness or a “grudge” that you have against someone for something that they have done to you (James 5:9; Matt. 6:14-15). God will judge you as a violent and bloody murderer who is worthy of hellfire for the hateful thoughts of your heart! Soberly consider it.
“Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these…hatred…and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the Kingdom of God.” – Gal. 5:19-21
If you are guilty of murder in the sight of God, it wouldn’t be wise to continue thinking you are a good person (Rom. 3:12). This is the sad reality: “Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find?” (Prov. 20:6). Whether you profess faith in Christianity or not, you can know for sure that you are truly lost if you feel this way about others (1 Jn. 2:9, 4:20). A blinding force of “darkness” is upon you (1 Jn. 2:11)! You need a guide to find your way out. Otherwise, you are as good as dead already (1 Jn. 3:14)! You are doomed to hell if something doesn’t change (Lk. 13:3).

Feelings of unforgiveness, frustration, anger, and hatred often lead to a fight. An outbreak of violence is imminent when people that don’t get along come around each other. However, even if you don’t say or do anything about it, you can still be damned to hell for the hatred that is lodged in your heart. People are different. Maybe you’re not as bad as the guy down the street. The general public of society is suppressed from acting upon their murderous and hateful feelings of violence because they are afraid of getting caught by the police and duly punished by the justice system of the government, as it is written in Romans 13:1-7. Such people would proudly deny that they would ever act in violence. Nevertheless, murderous and hateful people are lovers of violence, so these same people stream into the movie theaters on the weekend to excitedly watch heroes and villains skillfully commit unspeakable acts of violence. Are you guilty?

The people are mesmerized by the violence as they sit before the big screen and behold how “their feet are swift to shed blood” (Rom. 3:15). Is this your entertainment? No wonder that the UFC is becoming so popular today.  You may not be personally committing the sins graphically displayed on the movie screen, but you are taking “pleasure in them that do them” (Rom. 1:32). Moviegoing lovers of violence would be shocked to discover that God personally hates them for this wicked behavior. As it is written, “…but the wicked and him that loveth violence [the LORD’s] soul hateth” (Ps. 11:5). God is serious about vanquishing all lovers of violence from the earth. Make no mistake about it! Nearly 4,000 years ago, all men everywhere except 8 souls were annihilated in a worldwide flood for reasons clearly stated by God:

“The end of all flesh is come before Me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.” – Gen. 6:13
This deserves some reflection. A God of love was so infuriated with anger against the violence of mankind that He decided to destroy them, saying, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth” (Gen. 6:7). Literally, the holy heart of the Creator was filled with regret that He ever even made these men in the first place (Gen. 6:6-7)! Furthermore, what happened to them can happen to us. It has already been foretold (2 Pet. 3:6-7). There is another deluge of destruction coming! Not of water, but of fire, to put an end to the anguish endured by a God of peace and love (2 Pet. 3:10-12). Therefore, my fellow Americans, “Save yourselves from this untoward generation.” (Acts 2:40)! Repent and believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ and you will be totally transformed (2 Cor. 5:17).

The Strong Delusion of Drunkenness

“Be not deceived: neither fornicators…nor drunkards…shall inherit the Kingdom of God.” – 1 Cor. 6:9-10
Do you like to drink? Can you imagine a night out of fun on the weekend without alcohol? Or what about a relaxing evening? Nightlife rings with the clamor of shameless sinners because they are inebriated by the drink. Drunkenness numbs the conscience. It alters the state of mind. It distorts sound judgment. It steals the heart (Hos. 4:11). It silences conviction and breaks the moral compass of the people. It emboldens sinners to feel no shame and have no guilt as they fearlessly rebel against God! This is dangerous (Gal. 5:19-21).
“Woe unto them that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow strong drink; that continue until night, till wine inflame them!” – Isa. 5:11
Sinners thirst for an unrestrained and free experience of sinning that comes with no guilt and no regrets. The blinding power of drunkenness allows for this experience, at least until the buzz of the drink wears off. Then the drunkards are punished as they meet with a hangover in the morning. This is a gentle reminder that divine judgment will one day catch-up to social drinkers. At the dawn of a new day all the fun is over! The wine will dry up and the song of the drunkards will be silenced on Judgment Day (Joel 1:5, Ps. 69:12, Isa. 24:6-12).
“Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.” – Rom. 3:19

Sinners take pride in drinking games and mock those who have no tolerance!
“Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink:” – Isa. 5:22

Sex addicts and sex abusers weaponize the drink in pursuit of fornication!
“Woe unto him that giveth his neighbour drink, that puttest thy bottle to him, and makest him drunken also, that thou mayest look on their nakedness!” – Hab. 2:15

Adulterers and adulteresses are impassioned by wine and excited to cheat through the power of the drink!
“Whoredom and wine and new wine take away the heart.” – Hos. 4:11

Fighters and brawlers are stirred-up into tribalistic contests and senseless violence in the stupor of the drink!
“For they eat the bread of wickedness, and drink the wine of violence.” – Prov. 4:17

For one reason or another, sinners love to be inflamed by alcohol (Isa. 5:11). Whether it be lazy people who love to slumber, or greedy workaholics who can’t ever have enough, generally everyone has one thing in common: they enjoy drinking (Isa. 56:10-12)! People from every walk of life resort here for a good time. Speaking of this, it was written, “The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.” (Ex. 32:6, 1 Cor. 10:7). Naturally, society builds up a tolerance to alcohol and social drinking is normalized.
“Come ye, say they, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and to morrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant.” – Isa. 56:12 (Isa. 56:9-12)
Going into the restaurants, bars, and clubs down the street is like wandering into “the congregation of the dead” (Prov. 21:16). The spirit of revelry is thick in the air. The life of the party is a stench of death in the nostrils of a holy God. The place is filled with competitiveness, sensuality, coarse joking, filthy conversation, cursing, seduction, fornication, cheating, adultery, violence, fighting, sport, vanity, hedonistic relaxation, worldly recreation, and gambling. Get a buzz going and you will fit right in at the assembly of mockers (Jer. 15:17).
“Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.” – Prov. 20:1

“I sat not in the assembly of the mockers, nor rejoiced; I sat alone because of thy hand: for thou hast filled me with indignation.” – Jer. 15:17

Sinners are enchanted with the social environment of a feast with wine-sippers and gluttons (Prov. 23:20-21; Deut. 29:19-20). The allurement is real. The deception is strong. The bad company that overdrinks loves to overeat too; those who thirst for the drink love to gorge themselves in a good feast (Matt. 24:48-51, Lk. 21:34-36).
“Be not among winebibbers; among riotous eaters of flesh:” – Prov. 23:20

“Be not desirous of his dainties: for they are deceitful meat.” – Prov. 23:3

“I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers. I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked.” - Psalm 26:4-5

If people aren’t going out for the night on the weekends, they will just as quickly go to their friends’ houses for the same experience. As a crown of pride, wealthy people have their own wine cellars, games rooms, and personal bars at home (Isa. 28:1-3; Eccl. 2:1-11). Some prefer a less rowdy crowd while partaking of the same worldly pleasures (1 Jn. 2:15-17). Quieter evenings are spent lying upon “beds of ivory” or designer furniture, socializing in relaxation as they “stretch themselves upon their couches”, eating choice meat like “the lambs out of the flock”, while listening to their favorite music and sipping wine from a large wineglass (Amos 6:3-7). Can you relate? According to the Prophet Amos, such people will be the first to die on Judgment Day (Amos 6:7-9).

People feel they owe it to themselves to have fun. “Work hard, play hard!”, so they say. Nevertheless, finding peace and happiness in life is a controversial subject. Godless pleasure doesn’t produce real peace (Isa. 48:22, 57:21, 59:8)! Even so, the work week is extremely depressing to sinners. People feel the grief (Eccl. 1:18, 2:17, 23), sorrow (Eccl. 1:18, 2:20, 2:23), dissatisfaction (Eccl. 1:8), and restlessness of it all (Eccl. 2:23). The vexation and sore travail of their daily lives is a heavy burden upon their shoulders (Eccl. 1:13-14, 17, 2:17, 22-23, 26, 3:10, 4:4, 6). The cycle of life seems vain and meaningless even though it is encumbered with much “evil” (Eccl. 1:2-3, 2:21, 4:3). Why do you think life is so hard? Sadly, most people don’t ever seek answers to the most important questions in life. Instead of looking to God, they are enticed to look elsewhere…

“Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, when it giveth his colour in the cup, when it moveth itself aright. At the last it biteth like a serpent, and stingeth like an adder.” – Prov. 23:31-32
The enchantment of the drink will prove fatal in the end! In total denial, sinners find hope during the work week by looking forward to the weekend. Sanity is too troublesome! Sobriety is too boring! Therefore, sinners wish to intoxicate whatever soundness of mind they possess to have fun and live free. A dry bar doesn’t attract sinners on the weekend. A culture of dependency upon alcohol prevails upon the people. A buzz will make a bad day feel better. Being tipsy will make a terrible life a little less troublesome. Unhappy people cheer up with a drink. Anxious souls forget about their problems through the drink. The deluding power of the drink brings a fervor of childish excitement to adult life. Mundane and ordinary activities suddenly become entertaining and exciting to those inebriated by the drink. Nevertheless, it all comes with a cost. Insobriety is the death of spirituality! With the mind at ease from moral responsibility, unsuspecting drinkers quickly become victims to the madness of folly at midnight.
“Who hath woe? who hath sorrow? who hath contentions? who hath babbling? who hath wounds without cause? who hath redness of eyes? They that tarry long at the wine; they that go to seek mixed wine. Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, when it giveth his colour in the cup, when it moveth itself aright. At the last it biteth like a serpent, and stingeth like an adder. Thine eyes shall behold strange women, and thine heart shall utter perverse things. Yea, thou shalt be as he that lieth down in the midst of the sea, or as he that lieth upon the top of a mast. They have stricken me, shalt thou say, and I was not sick; they have beaten me, and I felt it not: when shall I awake? I will seek it yet again.” – Prov. 23:29-35

“For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries: Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you: Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead.” – 1 Pet. 4:3-5

ANGER

The Outrageous Sin of Anger

You may not be deemed a murderer when judged by secular standards, but are you an angry person? Most people dismiss this kind of behavior thinking that it’s no big deal, while adamantly condemning the sin of murder. Nevertheless, the Messiah had some fierce warnings for the danger that awaits those who are guilty of unrighteous anger.
“Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment: But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca [worthless person], shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.”  - Mat 5:21-22
Are you known among your peers to have a temper? Or are you known to be easily frustrated? Only on a bad day. Right? Maybe so. But on a bad day would you go out and murder someone? If you can see that the sin of anger is truly a damning sin, like the sin of murder, no rational person would blame the day.
“Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these…hatred, variance…wrath [anger], strife…and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the Kingdom of God.” – Gal. 5:19-21
Suffice it to say, the sins that will deny you entrance into the eternal paradise of Heaven are outrageously wicked in the sight of God! Even so, it was written, “Wrath is cruel, and anger is outrageous; but who is able to stand before envy?” (Prov. 27:4). In reality, the day is never the problem, nor are the unpleasant circumstances that people encounter. Divine wisdom points the finger at the person: not a bad day, but a bad person (Rom. 3:10)! There are a thousand ways that the sin of anger is explained away or concealed from the conscience so that sinners don’t feel guilty about it (Col. 2:8). Why do people get angry?
  • Modern psychology makes void the judgment of God by declaring that the criminal is an innocent victim of his environment (Prov. 17:15).
  • Erratically emotional people blame it on their traumatic experiences of the past.
  • Insecure people blame it on the hurt they feel when their expectations of love are unmet in their personal relationships.
  • Annoyed people claim that the feeling is normal, and justified, and that any other kind of behavior in such circumstances is weird and robotic.
  • Competitive people dismiss it as zeal for the sport.
  • Ambitious people disregard it as a drive to succeed.
  • Proud people believe it to be warranted for how they have been dishonored.
  • Manipulative people harness it as a means to control others.
  • Mentally unstable people are applauded when they discover ways to express their anger to “get it out of their system”, so the saying goes in psychology.
  • Bitter and unforgiving people embrace it while holding a grudge against the accused because they feel betrayed.
  • Vengeful people boil in it as they hope for the punishment of their enemies for the crimes they have committed in society.
The sin of anger is unjustifiable! “For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.” (James 1:20). Hereby, the mouths of sinners are “full of cursing and bitterness” (Rom. 3:14)! Sadly, a thousand different sinners will erroneously justify the sin of anger in a thousand different ways. Very intelligent people may argue thus… but all their reasoning is foolishness in the sight of God. “For anger resteth in the bosom of fools.” (Eccl. 7:9). My fellow Americans, whatever your persuasion is, you need to know that God will have the final say on Judgment Day as He justly sends angry people to Hell without pity. “Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.” (Act 8:22).

COVETOUSNESS

The Hellish Sin of Covetousness

“Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.”- Exodus 20:17
Proceeding forth from the devouring flames of Mount Sinai, the voice of Almighty God thundered: “Thou shalt not covet…” (Ex. 20:17)! This is the 10th Commandment. Are you guilty? A man can covet anything: a house, a woman, possessions, money, power, popularity, and fame. To covet something is to desire it as your own. The deluded public of modern society cannot see anything morally wrong with it.
“Be not deceived: neither fornicators…nor covetous…shall inherit the Kingdom of God.” – 1 Cor. 6:9-10
Covetous people will go to hell for their refusal to repent of covetousness! They live in a culture that welcomes it. They contribute to an economy that thrives on it. Hardworking sinners are passionately driven to succeed through covetousness. They work for what they want, and when they get it, they boast about it, and then their peers call them blessed. Sound unusual to you? Maybe not. We live in an “evil world” (Gal. 1:4)! “For the wicked boasteth of his heart's desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom the LORD abhorreth.” (Ps. 10:3). Sinners would be shocked to discover that a God of love confessedly hates covetous people in Psalm 10:3.
This is the sin of desire! Paul said that he would have never known about the sin of desire or lust except that the law said, “Thou shalt not covet.” (Rom. 7:7). It is the desire to possess things that you do not have. The desire unsatisfied makes men discontent or unhappy. This is a tragic and unrelenting cycle of human depravity! Why? Because the eyes are never satisfied with seeing (Eccl. 1:8), the ears are never satisfied with hearing (Eccl. 1:8), and the mouth and belly are never satisfied with eating (Eccl. 6:7; Php. 3:18-19). Even so, for this reason, the labor and toil of work never ends (Eccl. 4:8)! Not even riches can satisfy sinners (Eccl. 4:8, 5:10-12).
“Hell and destruction are never full; so the eyes of man are never satisfied.” – Prov. 27:20

“…the heart of the sons of men is full of evil, and madness is in their heart while they live, and after that they go to the dead.” – Eccl. 9:3 (Gen. 6:9)
There is something hellishly wrong with mankind! No wonder the Messiah decried the wickedness of sinners, calling them, the Children of Hell (Matt. 23:15). Something is wrong with their eyes, ears, and mouth (Prov. 6:16-19; Ps. 10:3). God didn’t create people like this (Eccl. 7:29; Jer. 2:12-13). For, every sensory receptor of the human body of a sinner is inflamed with an uncontrollable desire to sin like the raging and unquenchable flames of Hell (Hab. 2:5, Rom. 8:7-8)! “Destruction and misery are in their ways: And the way of peace have they not known:” (Rom 3:16-17). There’s only one remedy: The Cross (Gal. 2:20).
“Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his Cross, and follow me.” – Matt. 16:24 (Gal. 2:20)

“For the preaching of the Cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.” - 1Cor. 1:18
Apparently, God doesn’t want to satisfy the corrupt desires of covetous sinners! The selfish desires of sinners must be totally denied. Why? Because sinners will resort to religion as long as they are fed (John 6:26-27). They will even howl and cry to God in prayer for hours, and even pass a whole night as such, but in truth it’s just for the food and drink that they covet to possess (Hos. 7:14)! God wants to remove the sinner from the picture entirely. God wants to bring him to his utter end through death. This is the work of the Cross!

Sinners don’t need their desires to be satisfied, they need new desires (Rom. 8:6-8). No one has ever had a God-shaped hole in their heart that only God can fill. Sinners need new hearts (Ezek. 36:26-27)! You can’t get your life cleaned up to serve God. You need a new life altogether (2 Cor. 5:17)! Sinners must die to live (Gal. 2:20). Nothing short of death will solve this problem. The Cross, as an execution device, will put an end to all the miserable wretchedness of mankind! Nothing else will save sinners from the foolish and hurtful lusts that drown them in destruction and perdition (1 Tim. 6:7-10).
“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.” – 1 John 2:15-17
Naturally, in a fallen world, covetousness is what drives men and women to work hard and be successful, so that they can live with pride. This is a cursed condition of heart and mind, where the desire is uncontrollable and never ceases to wander into the discovery of new things of covetousness (Eccl. 6:9). Visit the so called “Church” down the street and you will see more of the same, only the covetousness is disguised in religious activity. When sinning is made religiously ceremonious its strikes the sinner as something honorable.
“But thine eyes and thine heart are not but for thy covetousness…” - Jer. 22:17

“For from the least of them even unto the greatest of them every one is given to covetousness; and from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely. They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.” – Jer. 6:13-14
Don’t let false Prophets take the stage and flatter you for another week of your vain lifetime (Eccl. 1:2, James 4:14). Don’t let your Pastors make you feel at ease and without worries as they fill their pockets with your tithe money and run the Church like a business (1 Thess. 2:5, 2 Pet. 2:3). Gain isn’t godliness (1 Tim. 6:3-5)! This isn’t Christianity. These aren’t true Christians. No covetous man will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven (1 Cor. 5:11, 6:9-10, Eph. 5:5, Rom. 1:29). You cannot serve God and money (Lk. 16:13; Matt. 6:19-24).

Covetousness has dragged billions of people down the broad way to hell. Keep living the way that you are and you will end up being so preoccupied with your own earthly affairs that you will never make time to get right with God (Php. 3:18-19). You will die and go to hell! Even if you achieve success, your covetousness will deceive you to make you think life is good, and before you have time to enjoy all your goods an angry God will suddenly require your soul! “Take heed, and beware of covetousness…” (Luke 12:15).
“And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.” - Luke 12:15-21

FORNICATION

The Animalistic Sin of Fornication

“Be not deceived: neither fornicators…nor adulterers
…shall inherit the Kingdom of God.”
– 1 Cor. 6:9-10 [Gal. 5:19-21]
Have you ever had sex outside of marriage? Maybe not. Do you commit sexual acts of any kind outside of marriage? Sensual contact with the opposite sex is common these days. Whether it be a crush, or a more serious relationship with a boyfriend or a girlfriend, people don’t think it’s a bad sin. Nevertheless, the Bible is very clear! Any sensual or sexual contact with the opposite sex outside of marriage, where lusts are acted upon through physical contact of any degree, this kind of sinning falls into the category of fornication. Doing physical acts of sexual immorality of any kind, including masturbation and pornography, would make you a fornicator.

Looking down from heaven, God says to mortal men: “Flee fornication.” (1 Cor. 6:18)! Literally, run away from it (Gen. 39:12)! It pursues you, and it can suddenly be inflamed within you; therefore, you must flee from it as from hell itself (1 Cor. 7:2, 9)! Fornication is a beastly sin that turns men and women into lustful monsters of iniquity. They become like a senseless and stubborn wild donkey, which is known for being an untamable wilderness creature that will not obey the commandments of men even when yoked (Job. 11:12, 39:5-8).

“Doth the wild ass bray when he hath grass? or loweth the ox over his fodder?” - Job 6:5
According to Scripture, the lustful urge to commit fornication is so strong that men and women behave like horses, donkeys, and oxen, all of which scream noisily in bitter discontentment if they lack one of two things in life: food and sex (Job 6:5, Jer. 13:27). At such a time the horses and donkeys neigh and bray, while the oxen moo or low. Have you ever heard it?

These animals let out an obnoxious and unrelenting sound that is both alarming and disturbing to hear. City folk would be shocked at the sound of a cow in heat crying and wailing for a mate! For the same reason the countryside rumbles with territorial males fighting for the females. This is the madness of immoral animals! Nevertheless, the same animalistic desire drives sinners crazy, even though it is manifested in a more complex and dynamic conflict between men and women. In one way or another, at any given time of the day, you can find sinners “neighing” like horses after women (Jer. 13:27). In speaking to women, or about them, or vice versa, the filthy talk and coarse jesting about fornication never ends (Eph. 5:4)! Sinners are tormented with the desire to fornicate! Meanwhile, the Creator of heaven and earth looks down with disdain upon the shocking debasement of mankind.

“They were as fed horses in the morning: every one neighed after his neighbour's wife. Shall I not visit for these things? saith the LORD: and shall not My soul be avenged on such a nation as this?” – Jer. 5:8-9
Countryfolk know that if you feed a male horse in the morning, rather than it being preoccupied with searching for food, the horse will expend all of its energy pursuing a female to mate. In ancient times, these animalistic passions would cause men to assemble by troops into whorehouses (Jer. 5:7). Nowadays, men and women resort by troops to the internet: they peer into the animalistic pleasure of harlotry through pornography to satisfy their burning desires (Jer. 5:7). Well over 60,000 new people begin watching pornography every minute! Over 100 million people a day visit the most popular internet whorehouse on earth – a pornographic website that broadcasts filth for the world to see! The eyes, ears, and bodies of sinners are defiled in the experience, while the land itself underneath them is polluted (Lev. 18:24-30, Jer. 2:7, 3:1-2, 9, 16:18, Ezek. 36:17)! With such staggering statistics as these, one can only imagine what lengths that men and women take every day to satisfy their lusts.
“Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.” – Rev. 9:21
Even in the face of apocalyptic judgment, sinners will refuse to repent of the damning sin of fornication (Rev. 9:21)! No wonder that sinners are described to be like wild female donkeys in heat, as animals that are so determined to mate that they would cross a wilderness until their desire is accomplished (Jer. 2:18-24)! Granted, people don’t know that much about the passions of country animals these days. So, to put things in perspective, consider your very own pet dog: have you ever seen a male dog in the presence of a female dog in heat?
The desire for fornication in sinners is animalistic like the whining, squealing, and crying of male dogs, as they become frantic and crazy with determination to mate when encountering the smell of a female dog in heat. Even so, sinners are madly addicted to fornication like shameless animals, and for this they deserve to die! “But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed…shall utterly perish in their own corruption.” (2 Pet. 2:12).

The Horrific Stench & Deadly Poison of Lying

“Thou shalt not bear false witness…” – Ex. 20:16
Have you ever told a lie? Do you always speak the truth? Or, like most people, do you tell lies when it is to your advantage? After weighing the consequences of such actions, you wouldn’t think lying is advantageous for yourself or anyone else. There is no such thing as a harmless white lie!
“…All liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” – Rev. 21:8; Prov. 19:5, 9
Sadly, most people live in a constant state of lying as slaves of their own personal insincerities. They are tormented with an inferiority complex as “Men of High Degree” are enshrined as idols before the eyes of the public (Ps. 62:9). The vulnerable up-and-coming generation is reared in a toxic culture that has normalized insults and ridicule. Frightened sinners are driven to be someone they are not – to become “a lie” – and hereby they deceive themselves and everyone else (Ps. 62:9; Jer. 17:9). Based upon unpleasant past experiences, and deep personal regret, people will reinvent themselves in hopes for a different future. As habitual liars, “…having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage” (Jude 1:16), the common people learn to manipulate their own personalities to become popular. Men will do almost anything to get the honor and respect of their peers! Meanwhile, they all claim to be strong believers in God.
“How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only?” - John 5:44
People feel no shame about their desire for acceptance. Naturally, it’s all just a part of surviving in a world of envious and hateful sinners (Lk. 16:15). Therefore, conveniently, the reinvention of oneself is dubbed the discovery of oneself! No wonder. For, it was written, “A fool hath no delight in understanding, but that his heart may discover itself.” (Prov. 18:2). Modern society tells us that anything and everything is ethical as long as you are being yourself! This is a lie from hell.
“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” – Jer. 17:9
Ignorance is bliss ever since The Enlightenment of the 17th & 18th centuries, when men decided to exalt their own power of Reason above the Bible. Then all the sinners huddled together to try to figure out what is wrong with humanity, and they called it Psychology. Now, hundreds of years later, people have never been more intelligent and knowledgeable, while at the same time they have never been more confused and immoral. 20 million people a year are so depressed in life that they attempt to kill themselves! That’s 200 million people per decade desperately attempting to die by suicide! Given the circumstances, I wonder…will you suffer God to tell you the truth?
“Seest thou a man wise in his own conceit? there is more hope of a fool than of him.” – Prov. 26:12
The curious discovery of oneself is a horrifying exercise, like digging up the coffin of a dead corpse so that you might open it up and discover the sights, sounds, and smells of the hot, vaporous, and rapidly decomposing flesh that is before you (Rom. 3:13). If everyone on earth was interested in this kind of a discovery, then the whole world would be polluted with the smell of the dead. This is a spiritual reality! If only men could see things the way that God sees them.
“Their throat is an open sepulchre [grave]; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips:” – Rom. 3:13
Do you use your tongue for deceit? Honestly deceived people unknowingly become the ministers of deception. The Devil, the Father of Lies, is a master manipulator who controls the world through deception (Jn. 8:44; 2 Cor. 4:4; Eph. 2:2-3). This reign of terror is perpetuated through lies. Meanwhile, God hates the lying lips and tongues of sinners (Prov. 6:16-19, 12:22)! Only because the haters of God disguise their hatred for the LORD through promoting lies (Prov. 10:18). Sinners proudly and contemptuously argue against the truth to their own hurt (Ps. 31:18)! Each in their own way, everyone is honestly playing a part in the madness: call them Prophets, Preachers, Politicians, or Professionals; or call them Businessmen, Journalists, Reporters, or Authors, the damning presence of deception is everywhere.

Some men create their own “truth” like traditional false Prophets, as Mohammad did in Islam, Buddha in Buddhism, the Pope in Catholicism, the Brahmans in Hinduism, or the Sanhedrin in Judaism. Others do the same through political ideologies like Conservatism, Liberalism, or Socialism. Every belief system or ideology that relies upon the inherent goodness of humanity is fundamentally false. For, the Word of God says, “…there is none that doeth good, no, not one” (Rom. 3:12). However, naturally, sinners will be all that they can be through works-based Religions or works-based social agendas of Nationalism and Globalism. They will encourage themselves in these affairs despite the fact that nothing ever goes as planned. Sinners just can’t stop biting and devouring one another! Meanwhile, the common people don’t even know that their definition of morality and goodness is contrary to the Bible (Php. 3:18-19; Gal. 6:14; Jer. 9:23-24).

“Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts.” – Prov. 21:2
The noble men and women of society believe in themselves, and they believe in the best of people (Jer. 17:5). Therefore, when someone says good things about other people, he or she has a reputation of being a good person (Rom. 3:10-12). This is called “love” in the 21st Century – it is manifest in tolerance, acceptance, harmony, & unity. Furthermore, the elite of America will go on to tell you that Democracy is the light of the world! Literally, millions of pilgrims will annually visit the governmental buildings of Democracy with reverence and awe as those that venture into sacred grounds. Meanwhile, the patriotic dreamers and military personnel of America treat the national holidays like religious holy days. This is blasphemy!
“And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.” - Luke 16:15
Every lie from each category carries with it the same poison. In every case the righteousness and honor of the good man is a lie (Isa. 64:6)! Religiously, nationally, culturally, or patriotically, the deception comes in the form of flattery (Prov. 26:28). Evil men are seduced by a blinding force of pride that makes sinners feel good about themselves (1 Jn. 2:15-17). All the ideologies, philosophes, and dogmas of the world are different shades of gray. One way or another, sinners come to believe that they will be allowed into Heaven because of their good deeds.
“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!” – Isa. 5:20-21
The most famous false Prophets of today are theoretical scientists. Maybe you’ve heard of them. Men like Darwin, who was a theoretical evolutionist. Men like Stephen Hawking, who was a theoretical physicist. The theoretical scientists of modern times influence the skilled writers and storytellers of the day, so that the Authors and Scriptwriters then produce radical tales of Science Fiction that captivate the world with amazement and wonder. The desire to peer into a fantastic story is simply irresistible to sinners! The love for television and movies transcends cultural, national, and religious differences all over the world. This is wickedness!
“A wicked doer giveth heed to false lips; and a liar giveth ear to a naughty tongue.” – Prov. 17:4
In every case the popularity of the lie gets the people’s attention, and with so many people in agreement about something the fantasy becomes powerful, not because the lie itself is powerful but because the ingrained desire to please men in sinners is powerful (Ex. 23:1-3; Gal. 1:10). The naughty tongue of a fantastic storyteller is just a prolific liar who makes a living out of entertaining other liars (Prov. 17:4). Literally, Science Fiction is nothing more than an intelligent liar entertaining people with fantasy!
“And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” – 2 Thess. 2:11-12

“For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.” – Rev. 22:15

The Inbred Sin of Heterosexuals & Homosexuals

It’s a popular saying these days. “I was born this way!” I’m sure you’ve heard it. Or maybe you’ve heard something like, “It’s in my blood!” or “It’s in my genes!”. As for sexual orientation, homosexuals really believe that they have been born that way. Nevertheless, Jesus Christ said:
“YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN.” – John 3:7
The Savior of the world uttered these words as a message of hope and freedom for lost sinners. There is no excuse for living in sin. Not even the fact that you were born in it! There is something tragically wrong with Mankind. We are born sinners! Speaking of this, David said, “…in sin did my mother conceive me” (Ps. 51:5). This is an inbred problem. We are sinners by nature. If we just do what we want and follow our feelings we will naturally end up sinning against God (Rom. 5:12-14). You could say that sin is a part of our spiritual genetics. Literally, it is a hereditary problem that we have inherited from our parents dating all the way back to Adam and Eve. This is the inbred foe of heterosexuals and homosexuals!
“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.” - John 3:3
A spiritual new birth will make a difference. Your choice of lifestyle will be different. Your idea of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness will be different. Think about it! If you are blind to the things of God, or if you cannot see the Kingdom of God, as Jesus said, then you will live by your own rules of conduct and morality while thinking that you are doing a good job. You will spend your days chasing after your best self as a sinner. You will work hard, live with pride, eat well, enjoy your free time, and you will make sure to take care of yourself above anyone or anything else. Believe it or not, these were the ideals of society in Sodom and Gomorrah.
“Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy. And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good.” – Ezek. 16:49-50
When self is enshrined as “god” in any society, then divine judgment is just around the corner. Sodom and Gomorrah learned this the hard way. They lived proudly, fully, abundantly, and selfishly, and then they began to commit the abominations of homosexuality…and God took them away!
“Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.” - Jude 1:7

“And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;” – 2 Pet. 2:6

Look around you! The cultural ideals of Sodom and Gomorrah are thriving in America. Hundreds of thousands of sodomites regularly parade their sins in the streets of our cities! Clearly, we as a nation are on the same crash course as Sodom and Gomorrah. People are living proudly, fully, abundantly, and selfishly in a rich society, and as a consequence, this country is being given over to abominable forms of sexual sin! These things are explicitly condemned in the Bible.
“Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.” – Lev. 18:22

“If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.” – Lev. 20:13 [Deut. 23:17]

What’s the problem? An abomination is something that is hateful and disgusting in the sight of God. It should be hateful and disgusting to you too! Honestly, according to the Bible, the sin of homosexuality is a form of sexual abuse. Why? Because men and women are abusing themselves in a defiling, unclean, unnatural, and hurtful form of sexual pleasure.
“Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the Kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators…nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind…shall inherit the Kingdom of God.” – 1 Cor. 6:9-10

“…them that defile themselves with mankind” – 1 Tim. 1:10

Without getting into graphic detail, can you see why the Bible identifies homosexuals as “abusers of themselves with mankind” (1 Cor. 6:9-10)? Without describing the sights, smells, and the toxic inconveniences of these sexual acts, can you see why homosexuals become dirty and defiled in the process? It is “uncleanness” (Rom. 1:24). It is dirty, unhealthy, harmful, unsightly, and “unseemly” (Rom. 1:27). It is beneath the dignity of mankind (Gen. 1:26-27)! These are “vile affections” (Rom. 1:26)! The people “dishonor their own bodies between themselves” when they “change the natural use into that which is against nature” (Rom. 1:24, 26).

Homosexuals need to reckon with all the inconveniences of homosexuality, not the least of which is the inability to procreate! Repent, my friend. Humble yourself before God! Literally, God didn’t create men to live this way. Evidently, you shouldn’t “do those things which are not convenient” (Rom. 1:28). It’s not good for you! Beware, lest you anger God any further with your abominations! Consequentially, you will be given over to even greater forms of sexual perversion, such that are outlawed even by the heathen society.

“For this cause God gave them up…” – Rom. 1:26
“God gave them over to a reprobate mind” – Rom. 1:28

A life given over to sin is a total catastrophe! Time will tell. This is your opportunity to get right with God before you die in your sins! If only sinners would give their lives to God, they would find that there is power in the Gospel of Jesus Christ (Rom. 1:16). Be reconciled to God! You can meet with God personally. You can know God spiritually. If you come into contact with the real person of Jesus Christ, you will not be the same person that you were before: Are you dirty and defiled? Then you will be washed! Are you unholy and unclean? Then you will be sanctified! Are you condemned? Then you will be justified (1 Cor. 6:11)! The new birth is a regeneration of the person (1 Cor. 6:11, Titus 3:3-7). “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” (2 Cor. 5:17).
